The best of both worlds

ZIO stands for ‘Zorg in Ontwikkeling’ (Care under Development), which is actually an understatement taking into consideration that there is no sector where developments follow one another in such rapid succession as the care sector. ZIO represents the interests of primary care providers in the Maastricht-Heuvelland region by taking on a facilitating, coordinating and unifying role. In addition to ZIO, general practitioners in the Maastricht-Heuvelland region were formerly also represented in a separate organisation, the Regional GP Care Association (Regionale Huisartsenzorg, RHZ). A decision was made to merge the organisations to enable them to strengthen their communicative capacities through a single, unified voice. The new corporate identity would have to harmoniously merge these two worlds.

The foundation of the corporate identity is formed by the new logo: graceful, playful and establishing not only a connection between ZIO and RHZ, but also between primary care practices and other parties in the care sector. The corporate identity was rolled out on a grand scale, in which we designed not only the new website, but also the patient brochures, the lettering for the vehicle fleet and all the business stationery.

ZIO testimonial

We have been engaging R&R Communication for our communication needs for over five years now. We are very satisfied with the products R&R makes for our organisation and additionally with the corresponding level of service. They listen carefully to us and are able to clearly interpret our wishes. They contribute their ideas to our projects and take a proactive attitude. They then know exactly how to transform our request into a creative product that corresponds to our wishes and identity."

ZIO, Care under Development

Zorg in Ontwikkeling (Care under Development, ZIO) was previously Stichting RHZ Heuvelland, a primary care organisation for Maastricht and the surrounding Heuvelland area. ZIO believes in providing the highest possible quality of care and achieves its aims by providing primary care providers (e.g. General Practitioners and physiotherapists) with proper support in their practice.

The organisations affiliated with ZIO are the Maastricht and Heuvelland Area General Practitioners’ Association (RHZ) and the Maastricht and Heuvelland Area Physiotherapists’ Foundation (Stichting Fy’net).
